NEOPLANET APPOINTS FORMER WELLS FARGO, AMERICAN EXPRESS EXECUTIVE TO VP MARKETING POST
TEMPE, Ariz., March 8, 2000 - NeoPlanet, Inc., developer of the industry-leading "Internet Desktop" today announced the appointment of Robert B. Danoff as its vice president of marketing. Mr. Danoff introduces 10 years experience in marketing consumer online products and services, both nationally and internationally, and a total of 18 years experience in consumer marketing.
Previously, Mr. Danoff was vice president of marketing for Wells Fargo Bank, Southwest Region where he spearheaded customer migration strategies toward new banking media. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1997, he was American Express Company's director of consumer marketing and product development in the Interactive Travel Group.
While at American Express, Mr. Danoff directed the launch of the Company's first transaction oriented Web site with SET protocol, and served as a key product liaison to Microsoft and AOL. Mr. Danoff was awarded the American Express "President's Award" in 1995.
Between 1983 and 1994, Mr. Danoff held executive posts at American Airlines' SABRE Travel Information Network; QDAT Corporation, a venture-backed electronic travel ticket delivery network; and other consumer travel enterprises.

Robert Danoff earned his MBA at the University of New Mexico and was awarded a fellowship to the Washington Campus in Washington, D.C. He earned his BA at the University of New Mexico and graduated with distinction.
