NEW YORK and TEMPE, Ariz. - July 10, 2000 - MTV.com, a unit of the MTVi Group, and enhanced browser developer NeoPlanet, Inc. (www.neoplanet.com), today announced an agreement to offer custom versions of NeoPlanet's enhanced Web browser to MTV.com audiences. The browsers will feature show-themed sounds and images and direct access to MTV.com content. The first custom browser was released under the "Daria" brand. The Daria browser is the ultimate web-surfing tool for hardcore Daria aficionados featuring show-themed sounds, and is currently available free for download at daria.mtv.com.

The new custom browsers are based upon the NeoPlanet 5.1 application and feature customizable "skins," email, search and enhanced "channel" navigation. Each browser features unique interface designs with show-themed sounds and images, direct "channel" links to MTV.com properties, and a variety of enhanced navigation features.

The custom browsers are approximately 2MB, and require Windows 98 or Windows 95/NT with IE 4.0 or higher installed.
