HOLLYWOOD, California, PHOENIX, Arizona, SAN FRANCISCO, California, July 1, 1999 - The cold war may be over, but the browser war is just heating up, thanks to Dr. Evil, infamous villain from the Austin Powers movie series.
Beginning today, consumers can make Web browsing Evil with the official "Dr. Evil Browser", available free for downloading at http://www.austinpowers.com. The new browser features a unique design with Dr. Evil sounds and images and a built-in channel bar that lets users surf to thousands of Web sites with the click of a mouse.
Developed for New Line Cinema by NeoPlanet, Inc. (http://www.neoplanet.com) and Lot21 Interactive Advertising (http://www.lot21.com), the Dr. Evil Browser offers a new way for fans to bring the fun of the Austin Powers movie to the Internet.

Both the Dr. Evil Browser and the Austin Browser feature full support for the latest version of Macromedia's Flash v 4.0. Both work with Windows 98 and Windows 95/NT with Internet Explorer 3.02 or higher installed.
