About Carl Martineau
Carl Martineau joined NeoPlanet Inc. in 1999, bringing nearly 10 years of expertise in product management of development
processes. As vice president of engineering/chief architect, Martineau oversees NeoPlanet's Engineering division, including
development, quality assurance and operations. He is instrumental in a number of major developments for the company's
product line, including bringing to market NeoPlanet 2.1, 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2.
Prior to joining NeoPlanet, Martineau served as director of development for WavePhore WaveTop in Phoenix, a system that
broadcasts Web content over TV signals, allowing users to view content on their PCs without an Internet connection. There, he
directed a team of developers throughout the development and deployment processes of WaveTop 2.0. Prior to that, Martineau served
in various engineering capacities at a number of companies, including director/system architect at IFusion Com Corporation, Mesa,
Arizona; software engineer at Motorola, Inc., Scottsdale, Arizona; senior software engineer at BTG, Inc., Vienna, Virginia; and
computer systems analyst at the National Security Agency in Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.
He is also the creator of Newmake and co-creator of
Tundraball.
Martineau earned an M.S. degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. degree in computer
science from Utah State University. Born in Utah in 1964, Martineau currently resides in Mesa, Arizona.
